Why are you brushing your teeth with something that has a warning label to contact poison control if swallowed (in the US)? It's easily absorbed through the soft tissues of your mouth, even if you avoid swallowing your toothpaste

And why don't your fluoride-containing water and foods have the same warning label to contact poison control if swallowed?!

When people go to the doctor with symptoms produced by fluoride poisoning, the drugs they're given further poison the body, causing them to show new "symptoms

We are taught to see these as symptoms of "disease" when they are actually symptoms caused by poisoning the patient

In turn they are given MORE drugs containing fluoride, and therefore their condition deteriorates

Ultimately we KILL the patient, believing they died of a "disease," when they were actually killed by fluoride poisoning, as well as an accumulation of other deadly chemicals found in prescription drugs that ARE NOT SAFE for human consumption

This is a DEADLY SCAM that generates business for the medical industry and pharmaceutical companies

It depends on your perspective. Fluorine bonds strongest to calcium, that is why it is very good for your teeth. It forms a substance stronger than average enamel. This is great for people who don't want cavities. Look at peoples teeth who drink fluoride water versus non-fluoride water and you will see the difference. Since fluorine bonds so well to calcium, it will bond with calcium in your stomach and intestinal tract, keeping your body from absorbing the maximum amount. Notice that areas with fluoride drinkers have a higher level of osteoperosis? This is because they do not get as much calcium as non-fluoride drinkers (if they have the same diet that is).

This guy is way over the top. Drinking fluoride over a long period of time can have negative and positive effects as mentioned above. Short term use, I wouldn't worry about it.

Firstly I will give you some snip its of an article I read (credible source). Please keep in mind that I had this theory before I went looking for answers - so it freaked me out even more when I found it. This is just one article, there are many more other reports.

Controversial fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in both PROZAC (FLUoxetene Hydrochloride) and Sarin nerve gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl FLUoride).

Sodium fluoride, a hazardous-waste by-product from the manufacture of aluminum, is a common ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, anesthetics, hypnotics, psychiatric drugs, and military nerve gas. It's historically been quite expensive to properly dispose of, until some aluminum industries with an overabundance of the stuff sold the public on the terrifically insane but highly profitable idea of buying it at a 20,000% markup, injecting it into our water supplies, and then DRINKING it.

Yes, a 20,000% markup: Fluoride– intended only for human consumption by people under 14 years of age–is injected into our drinking water supply at approx. 1 part-per-million (ppm), but since we only drink 1/2 of one percent of the total water supply, the rest literally goes down the drain as a free hazardous-waste disposal for the chemical industry, where we PAY them so that we can flush their expensive hazardous waste down our toilets. How many salesmen dream of such a deal? (Follow the money.)

Independent scientific evidence repeatedly showing up over the past 50 years reveals that fluoride allegedly shortens our life span, promotes cancer and various mental disturbances, accelerates osteoporosis and broken hips in old folks, and makes us stupid, docile, and subservient, all in one package. There are reports of aluminum in the brain possibly being a causative factor in Alzheimer's Disease, and evidence points towards fluoride's strong affinity for aluminum and also its ability to "trick" the blood-brain barrier by looking like the hydrogen ion, and thus allowing chemical access to brain tissue.

Scientists who have attempted to blow the whistle on this mega-bucks PR ploy have consistently been given a very unscientific Black-PR treatment, and thus their valid points disputing the current vested interests never arrive in the press.

There is a tremendous amount of emotional, highly unscientific know-it-all attached to fluoridation. Many truly independent (unattached to any vested-interest) scientists who've spent a large portion of their lives studying and working with this subject have been subjected to a surprising amount of uncalled-for and unfair character assassination from strong vested-interest groups who profit from the public's ignorance as well as from their illnesses. Let's begin at the beginning: The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water on Earth was found in Germany's Nazi prison camps. The Gestapo had little concern about fluoride's supposed effect on children's teeth; their alleged reason for mass-medicating water with sodium fluoride was to sterilize humans and force the people in their concentration camps into calm submission. Not getting a lot of support in here, huh? I've never heard the angle that the purpose of fluoridation was population control, but I have read some about how fluoridation of the water came to be. Whether the motivation was simply profit or something more sinister, I do believe that fluoridation is a farce and has serious health consequences associated with it. Unfortunately when you try to tell people this they just look at you like you're nuts. All of those Colgate/Crest commercials can't be wrong…and the ADA recommends fluoridated toothpaste. The ADA, the same organization that for how many decades told us it was OK to walk around with big hunks of mercury in our mouths.
Wouldn't people be shocked to learn that for the first time in history a corporation put profits ahead of peoples well being? (SARCASM)
As to the idea that the government is using it for population control, I think the govt is complicit in many ways in keeping us unhealthy. Whether they are actively looking for ways to make us unhealthy or standing idly by while corporations profit from making us unhealthy, I am certain that the govt would prefer that we drop dead the day we retire. They certainly don't want us living long happy lives collecting Social Security into our nineties.

I am just getting sick and tired of you unelightened people giving me thumbs down. Read a little, educate yourselves or better yet go drink some fluoridated water….really it's harmless!
Well, the point is that we don't get to choose. Fluoridated water is forced on us by the powers that be. I assume I have been drinking it all my life and until recently have been brushing with fluoridated toothpaste. If it's so great, then why do I have so many fillings? Nothing like a little mercury to make you crazy. no wonder I get so wound up sometimes.
And there have been incidents where people have been sickened by fluoridated water because they added too much to the water, and a boy who was killed at the dentists office after swallowing a fluoride treatment.
Slow poison does not mean no poison. Just because it doesn't kill you or harm you immediately doesn't mean that years of use will not harm you.

So, why haven’t the media picked up on it?

Here’s the big catch. Pharmaceutical companies probably won’t invest in research into DCA because they won’t profit from it. It’s easy to make, unpatented and could be added to drinking water. Imagine, Gatorade with cancer control.

DCA is an odourless, colourless, inexpensive, relatively non-toxic, small molecule. And researchers at the University of Alberta believe it may soon be used as an effective treatment for many forms of cancer. However, because the compound is not patented, you may never see it on the market as Drug companies can not profit from it.

I am 27 y.o. female, do not smoke, drink, or take any type of drugs. I drink at least 6 glasses of water everyday, do not drink any sodas, tea, coffee. Went to my doctor and had a complete check-up and she found nothing wrong. Any suggestions?
I am african-american and it just started to happen within the last few months. Noone else in my family has had this problem.
